This collage includes 97 birds found on my walks in San Francisco in late fall of 2008 -- just to show what you can find in a short season by walking around different parts of the city with an open eye. Through February of 2009 I found about 30 more birds which are added at the bottom of the page, for a total of about 130 or so birds species. Three times this many birds can be found within the city of San Francisco, so this is just an introduction.
