RACCOONS at my window

I wanted some wildlife outside of my study window, so I put up a bird feeder for the first time this Spring.  Well, I got more than I bargained for.  A squirrel found the bird feeder, and made such a mess that I decided to give him his own squirrel feeder -- a box of peanuts which he eventually learned to open himself. This did keep him away from the bird feeder, BUT two nights ago, on March 26th, I heard, and then I saw my next visitors: a raccoon pair who had discovered the squirrel feeder! The window is on the second story, so I expected nothing but birds, but the window is set back over the roof with trees from the yard below reaching up to the roof, so of course, critters can get up there. These photos were taken through the window glass, at night, with only a 70 watt utility lamp for lighting.
